Day Two of Early Voting Adds 2,148 In-Person Voters in Kendall County
Kendall County posted its second day of early voting numbers for the Nov 3, 2026 joint election, and 2,148 people voted in person on Tuesday, Oct 20.
The county's daily in-person report lists 2,144 main early voters plus 4 limited-ballot voters, for a 2,148 total. That is nearly identical to Monday's 2,165, down 17 voters. The two-day in-person total stands at 4,313, which the county reports as 10.44 percent turnout. No provisional ballots were cast either day.
The county's turnout table uses 41,302 registered voters for its percentage. The county elections page separately lists 41,263 registered voters as of October 2026, a difference of 39 voters that does not move the percentage.
On the mail-ballot side, the county's by-mail roster is unchanged since Monday's report: 1,220 ballots sent to voters, 545 returned, with 527 accepted, 10 pending voter action to correct a defect on the carrier envelope, and 5 undeliverable.
Combined, in-person votes plus accepted mail ballots total 4,840, roughly 11.7 percent of the county's registered voters.
The Wire looked for a same-day comparison from the Nov 4, 2025 election, whose second day of early voting fell on Tuesday, Oct 21, 2025. No daily Kendall County early voting figures for that election could be verified from a public source: the county's posted records for 2025 list final results only, and the Secretary of State's site carries no daily county-level numbers or downloadable data files for that election. The Wire will run the year-over-year comparison when a verifiable figure is available.
Early voting continues at the Kendall County Courthouse Annex, 221 Fawn Valley Drive in Boerne. Hours: 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. through Friday, Oct 23; 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. Saturday, Oct 24; 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Sunday, Oct 25; and 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. Monday, Oct 26 through Friday, Oct 30. The last day to apply for a ballot by mail is Friday, Oct 23; the application must be received by the county, not just postmarked. Election Day is Nov 3, with polls open 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.
A reminder on the math: the county's daily tables count voters checked in, and its turnout percentage uses the county's own registered-voter figure. Small rounding differences are normal.
