Special court session Friday to decide EMS Medical Director talks
The Kendall County Commissioners Court has called a special meeting for Friday, October 23, 2026, at 9:00 a.m. in the Commissioners Courtroom on the third floor of the Kendall County Courthouse, 201 East San Antonio Avenue, Boerne. The EMS Medical Director is the only substantive business on the agenda.
Under agenda item 3, the court will consider ending negotiations for EMS Medical Director services with Archangel EMV LLC. Under item 4, the court will consider authorizing county staff to enter into negotiations with the candidate recommended by the evaluation committee after interviews were held, pursuant to RFQ 2026-14, and authorizing the county judge to execute the resulting contract, subject to approval of general counsel. Both items were placed on the agenda by Commissioner Carpenter and Commissioner Chapman.
The meeting will also be live on Zoom, or by phone at 1-346-248-7799 with meeting ID 565 651 9107. Public comment is on the agenda; speakers must submit a participation form before the meeting and are limited to three minutes.
